Simple Post-Workout Salad

This post-workout Vibrant Energy salad has much more protein than that dead animal on your plate. Two or three times more.

Spinach, tomatoes, carrots, avocado, kidney beans, hempseed, raisins and nutritional yeast doused with balsamic vinegar will build lean muscle mass without causing inflammation that leads to chronic disease and joint pain.

This salad took less than five minutes to prepare and is packed with fiber and antioxidants, none of which are found in the steak, chicken, turkey, fish or eggs that you eat. While your animal-based meal is loaded with artery-clogging cholesterol, mine has none. Your meat has an abundance of fat while mine contains heart-healthy fats (omegas) and keeps me ripped and energized.

This is what a whole-foods, plant-based diet looks like. Note: no processed foods that are rich in sodium, oils and fat.
