“Why all the hate for vegans?” I was asked this question by the friend who I’m coaching. Having already lost 27 pounds and seen significant health improvements in her blood work, the people in her orbit still make disparaging comments about her choice to adopt a plant-based diet.
And she wondered why when she not only looks and feels great, but this is the first diet that “doesn’t feel like a diet” and has led to consistent weight loss instead of the yo-yo dieting she had always experienced in the past. I don’t have an answer for her. – Rick
