Staying In Shape While Social Distancing

Winners adapt, refusing to be defeated by circumstances. Looks like we will be held off the ice for a while. Whether that is for weeks or months, I’m determined to come back stronger. Focus on what you can do, not what was taken away.

Establish new (temporary) routines and set new goals. For me, that means I’m in the gym (it’s private) daily, back on the bike and, when the rain in LA finally stops, hitting the trail for my favorite 7-mile hike up and down steep hills.

My goals are to put on some muscle and improve my power and endurance. I won’t be “hockey fit” when I return to the ice, but I will always be #veganstrong
